Hubert Wilk Author

Hubert Wilk (1979) is professor in Tadeusz Manteuffel’s Institute of History Polish Academy of Sciences. His research interests revolve around the social history of the Polish People's Republic (PRL), particularly the history of motorisation. He has also published numerous articles on topics such as state propaganda regarding the space race, the impact of motorisation on the environment, the attempted modernisation of the Polish machine industry, and the official distribution of cars in the 1980s.
