Hugh Fairfax Author

Hugh Fairfax is a younger brother of Nicholas, 14th Lord Fairfax of Cameron and can trace his line of descent from the family of Thomas, 6th Fairfax, the Proprietor of the Northern Neck of Virginia, a vast expanse of over 5 million acres.  Hugh grew up near London and was educated at Eton College. Apart from writing about the family’s history, Hugh is a marine artist who exhibits regularly both at home and abroad.  Hugh and his wife Victoria live in London. They have three children, Alexander, Laura and Marina and seven grandchildren.
