Izumi Ohno Editor

Development, housed in the Global Economy and Development program at Brookings. In that capacity, he studies policies and trends influencing developing countries, including aid to poor countries, the emergence of the middle class, and global governance and the G-20. He previously served as interim vice president and director of the Global Economy and Development program.

John W. McArthur is senior fellow and director of the Center for Sustainable Development at the Brookings Institution. He is also a senior advisor to the UN Foundation and a member of the Board of Governors for the International Development Research Centre.

Izumi Ohno is a senior research advisor at the JICA Ogata Research Institute. She is also a professor at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS).
