Stefan Fröhlich is a Professor Emeritus of International Politics and Political Economy at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany). He is a member of the board of the German Atlantic Society (Berlin), the German Society for Foreign Politics (Berlin) and the Chairman of the selection committee for German students at the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium). He teaches at various prestigious universities in Germany and abroad and is known in academia, the public sphere, and the media as a leading expert on transatlantic relations.   

Jackson Janes is a resident senior fellow at the German Marshall Fund and president emeritus of the American-German Institute (AGI) at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC. He was awarded in 2005 the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, the country’s highest civilian award.

Jeffrey Rathke is President of the American-German Institute (AGI) at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC. Previously he served for 24 years in the State Department as a Foreign Service Officer, where his work was dedicated primarily to transatlantic relations and US security and defense policy, including assignments in Germany, Russia, on the NATO international staff, as well as in Latvia and Ireland.
