Helen Forbes-Mewett is Professor of Sociology at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Her research focuses on human security in relation to immigration, transnational education, cultural diversity and integration. She is an author of five books all relating to mobile populations. Most recently she co-authored research monograph on Identity and Belonging Among Chinese Australians.
