Julia Duffy Author

Julia Duffy is a Research Fellow at the Australian Centre for Health Law Research at the Queensland University of Technology. As a member of a national consortium of academics, she has provided research services to Australia's Disability Royal Commission. She is a member of two Heath Practitioner Regulatory boards and was previously a legal member of Queensland's Mental Health Review Tribunal. Duffy has also had a long career as a government policy advisor, lawyer and senior executive, including roles as Chief Executive of a major Commission of Inquiry into Child Protection, and as Queensland's Deputy Public Guardian.
