Dr. Mohammad Oves is an Assistant Professor at the Biological Science Department and the Center of Excellence in Environmental Studies of King Abdul Aziz University, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dr. Oves received his M.Sc. & Ph.D. (Microbiology) from Aligarh Muslim University, India. He has more than nine years of research experience on the different biological and environmental-related research projects like SWINGS (Safeguarding Water Resources in India with Green and Sustainable Technology) International FP-7 EU project and published two books from springer and consultant in the number of projects. He has published 100 scientific papers, including original research articles, review articles, and book chapters in reputed international publishers. He has also achieved 4671 citations on Google scholar. He is working on infection control by the newly synthesized drugs and nanomaterial; bacteria free device development and sustainable environmental build-up with beneficial microbes' enrichment by modern techniques. Dr. Khalid Umar is currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Chemical Sciences, University Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, Malaysia. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Technology & Management Aligarh, India. During that period, he was also engaged as a visiting faculty in the Department of Industrial Chemistry, AMU, Aligarh (India), and Women's Polytechnic, AMU, Aligarh (India). Before that, he has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Environmental Engineering, University Technology Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia. His research interests include the synthesis of nanoparticles and their potential applications (photo-catalysis under U.V. as well as visible light), removal of environmental pollutants, water, and wastewater treatment, Advance Materials: Graphene/metal oxide and their applications. To date, he has published 40 articles, including review and research papers, 04 book chapters. He has also served as Associate Guest Editor for Frontiers in Chemistry (Nanoscience section) and as a reviewer for several high impact ISI journals. Dr. Iqabal MI Ismail is an Associate Professor of Physical Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry of King Abdul Aziz University, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is also the Deputy Director for Technical Affairs for the Centre of Excellence in Environmental Studies and the Director of Intellectual Property Investment Unit at King Abdul Aziz University. Mohamad Nasir Mohamad Ibrahim obtained his B.Sc. (1994), M.Sc. (1997) and Ph.D. (1999) from Missouri S&T (formerly known as University of Missouri-Rolla, USA). He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the School of Chemical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He had published more than 120 journal articles, 17 book chapters, and four academic books throughout his twenty-year career at USM. Currently, his Scopus h-index is 21, and he had been granted nine patents for his R&D products/processes, where five of them are at an international level. More than thirty research grants (1 international grant and 5 industry grants) were secured and utilized to support his team's research activities. He had received fourteen international awards for his research outputs and currently serve as a Guest Editor for Frontiers in Chemistry. He had supervised more than 20 graduate students. His main research areas are Lignin and Lignocellulosic Materials, Nanoparticles, Polymer & Biomaterials, and Petroleum Engineering. He enjoys sharing his industrial experience, where he spent two and a half years worked as an R&D Manager at NSE Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd., in his classes.
