Dr. Lakshmanan Rajendran is a Professor of Mathematics at the Academy of Maritime Education and Training (Deemed to be University), Chennai, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in 1997 and works extensively in nonlinear differential equations, electrochemical modeling, and mathematical modeling of chemical and physical systems. Over his career, he has authored more than 400 SCI-indexed international papers, 250 national publications, and four academic books. He has completed six funded research projects and guided over 50 Ph.D. scholars. An active reviewer for leading international journals, Dr. Rajendran has also represented Indian research globally, with academic visits to Germany, Poland, and the UAE through INSA fellowships, contributing to international collaboration in applied mathematics. Dr. R. Usha Rani is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Meenakshi College of Engineering, Chennai. She earned her Ph.D. in Nonlinear Differential Equations from AMET University in 2022. Her research centers on analytical and numerical solutions of complex differential equations in chemical and environmental systems, including nonlinear reaction-diffusion processes, CO₂ sequestration, and biosensor modeling. She has published her findings in international peer-reviewed journals and actively engages in interdisciplinary research that connects mathematics with chemical and biological sciences. Dr. Usha Rani has contributed to the applied and computational aspects of several projects, focusing on asymptotic and semi-analytical methods for nonlinear systems in catalytic and porous media and multiphase transport problems. Her work also includes developing case studies, solving partial differential equations, preparing visual content, and applying computational tools to illustrate the practical relevance of mathematical modeling. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges theoretical mathematics with chemical engineering practice.
