Mario Theodorou is an award-winning author and screenwriter best known for his film and television work and his historical fiction series Felix Grey. The first novel, Felix Grey and the Descendant, established the series as a richly atmospheric blend of mystery, history, and character-driven drama, and has been praised as “reminiscent of Dickens’ London with the air of a Sherlock Holmes novel”. 

Alongside his fiction, Mario has written for BBC Drama, BBC Radio 4, and Sky, and his award-winning films have screened at major international festivals. A BAFTA member, he continues to develop film and television projects, crafting stories defined by layered storytelling, emotional depth, and a vivid sense of place.
