Co-Author Robert Worcester KBE DL has been a Trustee of the Magna Carta Trust since 1995 and from 2009-2015 was Chairman of the Magna Carta 2015 800th Anniversary Commemoration Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Magna Carta Trust since 2009.  The Founder of MORI, he is an Honorary Fellow and Visiting Professor of Government at LSE and Chairman of the Emeritus Governors and Fellow and Visiting Professor at King’s College London. During 2014-15, more than 1,000 Magna Carta activities in more than 80 countries took place, including over 70 lectures each by Professors Nicholas Vincent (UEA); David Carpenter ( KCL); Nigel Saul, (RHUL); Lord (Igor) Judge, (KCL); and Sir Robert (KCL and LSE) who spoke on “The Relevance of the Magna Carta in the 21st Century” in the UK, US, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Hungary, Italy, Argentina, Chile, Peru and China.

Co-Author Mark Gill BEM was the Executive Director of the Magna Carta Trust’s 800thAnniversary Commemoration Committee between 2012-2015.  He devised and oversaw the implementation of the communications strategy and coordinated the activities of a dozen Magna Carta 800th Sub-Committees covering key areas of focus.  He was heavily involved in the execution of the main 15 June 2015 commemorations in Runnymede, the fundraising dinner at the City of London Corporation, Guildhall, a Mock Trial at Westminster Hall, charged for treason by King John “Trial of the Barons and Bishops”, by King John with over 800 persons present, as well as organising special Magna Carta citizenship ceremonies.  Mark is a Visiting Senior Research Fellow of King’s College London.
