Melanie Morrissey Clark Author

Margaret Block, M.D, F.A.C.P., is a medical oncologist with Nebraska Cancer Specialists in Omaha, Nebraska. Board-certified in both internal medicine and medical oncology, Dr. Block treats many women with breast cancer. She is a native of New York City and attended Albany Medical College in Albany, New York; she received her medical oncology training at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Block is a member of the U.S. Oncology Breast Cancer Committee. She also serves on several local breast cancer boards. Suzanne W. Braddock, M.D., a breast cancer survivor, is a dermatologist in private practice in Omaha, Nebraska. After her diagnosis of breast cancer, Dr. Braddock had pressing questions about the disease, even though she was a doctor. She wanted the factsthe basic facts. After recovering from a double mastectomy and chemotherapy, Dr. Braddock pledged to write a book that covered the basics of breast cancer, its diagnosis, and treatment. Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Braddock received her medical training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine, Omaha. Dr. Braddock is the author of several scientific publications. Melanie Morrissey Clark has worked as a writer and editor for more than twenty years. Ms. Clark is vice president of Clark Creative Group in Omaha. She holds a bachelor of science degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska. She lives in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband Fred Clark, and their triplets, Cooper, Sophie, and Simon.
