Michael D. Whitt (1956-2023) was a veteran instrumentation and controls professional with decades of experience at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, United Engineers, Raytheon, and Mesa Associates. He authored the original edition with ISA and contributed to ISA’s A Guide to the Automation Body of Knowledge and the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge.
