Michele Zwierski is the head of cataloging for the Nassau Library System of Long Island, New York. After receiving her MLS from the University of North Texas, she practiced as a cataloger, specializing in nonprint materials and working at academic libraries in Virginia, Connecticut, and Texas before joining the Austin Public Library as a branch manager. She is an adjunct instructor at the Palmer School of Library and Information Science, a contributor to the fifth edition of Cataloging Correctly for Kids, and a coauthor of the second edition of Unlocking the Mysteries of Cataloging (2015, Libraries Unlimited). Michele also has a Bachelor's of Music degree from University of Washington, Madison, and a Master of Arts degree from the Yale School of Music.
Joanna F. Fountain has used her library and Spanish bilingual skills since the early 1960s, serving in elementary school, academic, and special libraries, as a librarian, a department head, and as an editor. Since 1990 she has been a consultant to state agency libraries and a rehabilitation center and served as liaison for Texas schools' K–12 union catalog. She is a popular presenter, author, and teacher.
Marilyn McCroskey is Professor of Library Science and Head of Cataloging at Missouri State University. Marilyn holds an MA in Library Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and lifetime Missouri certifications in Library K-12, Instructional Media K-12, and English 7-12. She is a member of the ALCTS Cataloging of Children's Materials Committee.
