Prof. Dr. Chakib El Mokhi is Associate Professor of electrical engineering, renewable energy, and computer science at Ibn Tofail University in Kenitra, Morocco. He studied electrical and information engineering in Germany and worked for several years in the automotive industry. His research focuses on the optimization of energy production and energy efficiency using metaheuristic optimization algorithms. He is also interested in big data, artificial intelligence, and decision-oriented informatics. He is General Chair of the International Conference on Advanced Sustainability Engineering and Technology (ICASET) and serves as Co-Editor of the International Journal on Optimization and Applications (IJOA). He is actively involved in academic event organization as Member of the organizing committees of the International Conference on Optimization and Applications (ICOA) and the international innovation competition Let's Challenge. He has reviewed numerous academic research articles for MDPI, Springer Nature, and several books for CRC Press.
Prof. Dr. Hanaa Hachimi received a Ph.D. in applied mathematics and computer science from the Mohammadia Engineering School, Med V University of Rabat, Morocco, in 2013, and a Ph.D. in mechanics and system reliability from the National Institute of Applied Sciences of Rouen, France, in 2013. She holds a master's degree in mathematical analysis and information processing and a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics, both from the Faculty of Sciences, Ibn Tofail University of Kenitra, Morocco, in 2009 and 2007, respectively. She is Full Professor at the National School of Applied Sciences, Ibn Tofail University of Kenitra, Morocco, and serves as President of the Moroccan Society of Engineering Sciences and Technology (MSEST). Prof. Dr. Hanaa Hachimi is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal on Optimization and Applications (IJOA) and Director of the Laboratory of Systems Engineering (LGS).
Prof. Dr. Zhour Madini is Distinguished Professor of Higher Education at the National School of Applied Sciences of Kenitra (ENSAK), Morocco. She received her master of engineering degree from the Optical and Microwave Communications Research Institute, Limoges, France, followed by her Ph.D. in high-frequency telecommunications and optics from the University of Limoges in 2008.
Professor Madini brings unique expertise combining academic excellence with significant industrial experience, having served as R&D Manager at The MathWorks and Consortium Scilab, where she developed software solutions for electronics and telecommunications applications. Currently serving as Coordinator of the Networks and Telecommunications Systems program at ENSAK, she oversees 160+ students while conducting research in the ISET Laboratory.
Her research interests encompass electronic devices, digital signal processing for communications, fiber-optic communication systems, cognitive radio technology, deep learning applications in telecommunications, and visible light communication for V2X systems.
