Nikhil Narayan Author

Nikhil Narayan is lecturer (assistant professor) of international law at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) School of Law, Northern Ireland, UK. Before joining QUB, he was the senior international legal adviser for the International Commission of Jurists, based in South Asia; Program Director for the Public International Law & Policy Group, in Syria, Tanzania and Somaliland; and, legal researcher at the Centre for Policy Alternatives, Sri Lanka. Nikhil is a Fellow of the Queen’s Institute for Peace, Security and Justice; justice expert adviser for the UK FCDO’s Civilian Stabilisation Group; and active member of the New York State Bar Association. He has a PhD in Law from QUB; LLM (cum laude) in Public International Law from Leiden University, Netherlands; JD from Columbia University, USA; and BA in Political Science from UC Berkeley, USA.
