Park Hansol Author

Park Hansol was born in 1989 and is based in Seoul. After graduating university and working at an IT company, she made the switch to full-time writing. She published her debut essay collection Letters from One Who Owes a Debt to Love, followed by the romance novel Love Allergy and the sci-fi novel Red Flag: People Who Need Caution. With Farewell, leoN, she received the 2025 Director's Award from the Korea Information Culture and Industry Promotion Agency at the Korea Science Fiction Short Story Competition. Jin R. Choi is a literary translator, writer, and researcher in queer/feminist studies, critical Korean studies, and communication/rhetoric studies. She holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Maryland. Her translation work has been supported by the Publication Industry Promotion Agency of Korea and the Literature Translation Institute of Korea. Find her most recent work at jinrchoi.com.
