Gian Luigi Canata is Orthopaedic Surgeon,  specialized in Orthopaedics and Traumatology and in Sports Medicine. He is Director of the Centre of Sports Traumatology and Arthroscopic Surgery at Koelliker Hospital, Turin, Italy. Werner Krutsch is Orthopaedic Surgeon and Specialist for Knee Surgery and Sports Medicine in the private institute SportDocsFranken in Nürnberg, Germany. He is Professor in the Department of Trauma Surgery at the University Medical Centre Regensburg and Head of the FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence Regensburg, Germany. Professor Krutsch is Member of the Medical Committee and Co-Director of the Football Medicine Programme at the German Football Association DFB. He is additionally Member of the Task Force Sports Medicine of the Deutsche Fußball Liga and Team Physician of the Football Club 1. FC Nürnberg.

Patricia Thoreux is professor of orthopaedic and traumatology surgery at University Sorbonne Paris Nord. She is specialized in Knee and Shoulder surgery and Sports traumatology. She is head department of CIMS (Centre d’Investigations en Médecine du Sport) at Hôtel Dieu hospital – APHP and of Sports and Exercice department at Hôpital Jean Verdier – APHP.
