Paul Eluard (14 December 1895 - 18 November 1952), was a French poet and one of the founders of the surrealist movement.

Francis Poulenc (7 January 1899 - 30 January 1963) was a French composer known for his solo piano music, chamber music, oratorio, choral music, opera, ballet music, and orchestral music.
