Paula Simó-Tomás, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Valencia, Span. Her research and publications lie at the intersection of political economy, cultural economics, and tourism, with a particular focus on music tourism, music cities, and territorial development. Her teaching focuses on economic policy, event management, and sustainable development. Dr. Simó-Tomás is Co-Chair of the Music Cities Network, leads the Music for Development research unit, and actively collaborates with the music industry and policymakers in Spain and internationally.
