Magali was born near Paris in 1979. After five year at the Arts decoratifs School in Strasbourg, she started working for the press and the publishing industry. She has written and illustrated many children's books and comic strips and won several literary prizes. Her illustrations are striking and characterful and the bright colours of the fish (especially the bright pink hero of the story) set against the dark backgrounds make Poisson Fesse stand out anywhere.
