Pedro Luengo is associate professor of the History of Art Department in the Universidad de Sevilla, where he also received his PhD in History of Art. He is the author of Intramuros: Arquitectura en Manila, 1739-1762 (Madrid: Fundación Universitaria Española,2012) and Manila, plaza fuerte: Ingenieros militares entre Europa, América y Asia (Madrid: CSIC-Ministerio de Defensa, 2013).
