Professor Tamsin Mather has been working as a volcanologist for over 20 years. Her first passion was studying volcanic gases and how they change our environment. She also studies how to predict volcanic eruptions better, and volcanoes on other planets.

David Pyle (Author)
Professor David Pyle has been fascinated by volcanoes since he saw his first volcano in Chile when he was 8 years old. He is an expert on reading the stories of past eruptions from the rocks and ash left behind. His favourite volcano is Santorini in Greece.

Daniel Long (Illustrator)
Daniel Long graduated from Norwich University of the Arts in 2014 and has been working as an illustrator in Norfolk since then, for a wide variety of clients. When not illustrating he can be found procrastinating, playing guitar or making things out of wood.
