Roberta Rosenthal Kwall Author

Roberta Rosenthal Kwall is the Raymond P. Niro Professor at DePaul University College of Law. Kwall earned her JD from the University of Pennsylvania and her undergraduate degree and Masters degree in Religious Studies from Brown University. Kwall is an internationally renowned scholar and lecturer and has published over 30 articles on a wide variety of topics including Jewish law and culture. She is the author of The Myth of the Cultural Jew: Culture and Law in Jewish Tradition (Oxford U. Press, 2015) and The Soul of Creativity (Stanford U. Press, 2010). Kwall’s OpEds and articles on topics of relevance to the Jewish community have appeared in The Chicago Tribune, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, Commentary Magazine, The Forward, The Jewish Journal, and EJewish Philanthropy
