Ron Gott Author

Ron Gott is a music photographer who thrived in rocks golden years of the late 60's through the 80's. Having photographed extensively in New York and London he has published in a number of "publications that time forgot". Starting with Crawdaddy, Changes, Fusion, Trouser Press as well as Rolling Stone, Village Voice,the NY Times and most major record companies. He has shown in various gallery shows and is represented in numerous private collections and institutions.

Formally a rave and club DJ, DJ DB, DB Burkeman is often credited and (sometimes blamed) with bringing the subgenre of Jungle to the US. He first released drum & bass records and compilations for the label Sm:)e Communications before opening Breakbeat Science, which became ground zero for the scene. Now retired from nightlife, he's making some noise in art & publishing by producing books on art, music and counterculture under his full name.
