Shashank Srivastava, PhD, is a Post-Doctoral Researcher for the India-Japan LOTUS Programme at Gifu University, Japan, following Institute Postdoctoral Fellowships at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati and the National Institute of Technology Warangal, India. He earned his Ph.D. from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, India, for developing pilot-scale pulsating floc blanket clarification technology and published a techno-economic review of coagulation-ultrafiltration hybridization strategies.
Chandan Das, PhD, is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Guwahati. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. His research spans membrane-based separation technology, wastewater treatment, food engineering, biomedical applications, and simulation and modeling, with five authored books and one edited book to his credit.
