Dr. Sougata Ghosh currently works as a visiting professor in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand. He was a visiting professor at Department of Chemical Engineering, Northeastern University inBoston, USA. He is also an associate professor in the Department of Microbiology, School of Science, RK. University inIndia. He obtained his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Microbiology from the Savitribai Phule Pune University in India. He is the principal investigator of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India-funded Foldscope Research Project. He has filed three patents on novel nanodrugs and has published 77 book chapters and more than 69 highly cited research articles in various international journals like the International Journal of Nanomedicine, Journal of Nanobiotechnology, Journal of Nanomaterials, and the Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. He is editor of 5 International Books and his book entitled “Dioscorea bulbifera: A model system in nanobiotechnology and medicine” is the most referred and voluminous comprehensive report on traditional medicinal plants. As a speaker, he has addressed numerous international conferences such as IJAS-2017 at Harvard University, ITNANO, Northeastern University, Boston, USA; ASM Biodefense, Washington D.C., USA; Nano-Bio-Med 2013, Trieste, Italy and BioMicroWorld2013, Madrid, Spain. He is a member of the Reviewer’s Team of 37 reputed journals, and a life member of the Association of Microbiologists of India (AMI). His area of research consists of but is not limited to nanomedicine, microbial metabolism, bioprospecting, bioremediation, biofilms, cancer and diabetes. Dr. Sirikanjana Thongmee now is an Associate professor of Physics. She is leading a team of 12 people including graduate students and research staff on nanomaterials and agricultural research for various magnetic and semiconductor applications. She has filed 1 patent on making activated carbon from bagasse and published more than 30 journal articles with a citation of over 500 times. She completed several applied research projects with industry. In addition, she has done the work on metal doped ZnO for gas sensing and also metal oxide decorated graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide for gas sensor and photocatalytic. Moreover, she has an Editorial Board Member in “Nanoscience and Nanometrology(NSNM). As speaker she has invited as keynote speaker and organizing committee in International Conferences. Dr. Ajay Kumar is a visiting scientist at the Department of Postharvest Science, Agriculture Research Organization, Volcani Center, Rishon LeZion, Israel. He has published extensively in leading International and National journals or books. He has wide area of research experience, especially in the field of Plant-Microbe Interactions, Microbial biocontrol, and Endophytes related with the medicinal plants, Postharvest management of fruits. Dr. Kumar has published more than 165 research articles including review papers/book chapters/ books in the leading international journals. He is serving as special issue editors in some journals like “Frontiers in Microbiology, Microorganism” etc. In addition also acting as reviewer in some leading journals like Frontiers group, PLOS ONE, Agriculture, Ecosystem and Environment, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, Biological Control, Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology, 3Biotech etc. Dr, Kumar has edited several books with leading publishers including Elsevier, Springer, and Taylor and Francis.
