Bracha Yaniv is Professor Emerita of Jewish Art History at Bar-Ilan University, and founding editor of Ars Judaica: The Bar-Ilan Journal of Jewish Art. She is the author of The Carved Wooden Torah Arks of Eastern Europe (2017) and Ceremonial Synagogue Textiles from Ashkenazi, Sephardi, and Italian Communities (2019), both published by the Littman Library. Tamar Shadmi is an independent scholar. She is the author and developer of curricula on Jewish Israeli culture for the Israeli Ministry of Education, and co-author of Shades of Identity - Judaism, Zionism and Israelism: Identities in a Changing World (Hebrew; 2011), and Sustained by Three Things: Tikun Olam in Jewish and Zionist Philosophy (Hebrew; 2011)
