Dr. M.A. Shah working in National Institute of Technology Srinagar since year 1999 has doctorial degree in Condensed Matter Physics. Dr. Shah had a chance to establish World Bank Funded Laboratory at NIT Srinagar, before taking up teaching assignment at Jeddah in year 2009. After having three enriching research and teaching experience, he rejoined host institution in June 2011. During his academic career within India and outside, he has published as many as 100 SCI research articles, covering the contemporary developments of Nanotechnology. In addition, he has authored two text books on Nanoscience with reputed publishers, edited three books on different aspects of Nanotechnology and number of articles.

Prof. Tokeer Ahmad did his masters in chemistry from IIT Roorkee (2000) and Ph.D. from IIT Delhi (2006) in the area of Nano-Chemistry. Immediately after PhD, he joined Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry and became full Professor in 2019. His research interest includes the development of advanced functional nanostructures for photo/electro-catalysis, nanocatalysis, gas sensing and energy applications. Dr. Ahmad has published 116 research papers in peer-reviewed journals with research citations of more than 3400 and an h-index of 34. Dr. Ahmad has received DST-DFG award from Govt. of India (2009), ISCAS Medal (2011) for the significant contribution in Nanotechnology and prestigious Inspired Teacher's recognition from Hon'ble President of India in 2015. Prof. Ahmad has received the "Distinguished Scientist Award" for the year 2019 due to his outstanding contribution in the area of chemical sciences and also elected as Member of very prestigious National Academy of Sciences India (NASI). Prof. Ahmad has also been figured in World Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University, USA.
