Vik Muniz Author & Illustrator

Vik Muniz is a Brazilian artist best known for working with everyday objects and mediums such as food, garbage, plastic, and toys, and for playing with size and perspective in his pieces. He is best known for his 1996 series Sugar Children and for his photograph, “Action Photo, After Hans Namuth” (1997). Muniz has been the subject of more than 170 solo exhibitions and participated in over 340 group exhibitions in 31 countries.
