Imani Thompson - Honey at The Portobello Bookshop

We are so excited to be welcoming Imani Thompson to the Portobello Bookshop to celebrate her debut novel, Honey.

Funny, sexy, addicting, and unpredictable, you won't be able to put it down once you get a taste! Honey has been making waves as one of the most talked about novels of 2026, and the buzz is more than warranted. Join us for thrilling conversation about power, love, obsession, and just a little bit of serial killing.

This event will take place in the bookshop with an in-person audience, as well as a livestream for attendees watching from home. There will be a signing after the event.

In-person vouchers can be redeemed on the night of the event against a single copy of Honey – we will have a list of attendees with vouchers to be redeemed. Please note that only one voucher can be redeemed per book. Livestream vouchers are valid until the day after the event and can be redeemed on our website against a single copy of Honey.

About Honey:

The first time, Yrsa doesn’t intend to kill.

But the Cambridge professor sitting opposite has manipulated her friend, stolen her research. When she flicks the bee into his San Pellegrino, she thinks he’ll get a nasty sting.

Then he’s dead. And Yrsa, who – let’s face it – has been bored for a while, is alive.

It’s a sweet feeling, finally having some control.

Please note: Tickets for our events are non-refundable. Professional photography and videography may take place during this event. Thank you for your understanding.
