Poetry Jan-June 2024

The first half of 2024 is an absolute feast for poetry lovers! We're both peeking forward and looking back in this list, casting an eye an those books we haven't yet shouted out and the ones we're looking forward to. We hosted an event with Rosa Campbell, whose selection of poems by V.R. "Bunny" Lang in Miraculous Season made for a wonderful evening; and later in the year we'll be welcoming Jackie Kay to launch May Day. We also had the pleasure of offering customers a signed and dedicated edition of poyums by Len Pennie. In terms of staff highlights: Lily is looking forward to reading K Patrick's Three Births; Euan is a fan of Sean Hewitt's Rapture's Road; Jenna is enamoured with Rachael Allen's God Complex; Kira is excited for Azad Ashim Sharma's Boiled Owls; and Wrong Norma, by the ever strange Anne Carson, is already one of Marc's favourites of the year so far.
