Jenny Troanni has been talking about quitting her boring job as an advertising copywriter, breaking up with her Hootie and the Blowfish-loving boyfriend, and starting her own band for years. And then one day, for no specific reason at all, she does all three. After placing numerous ads and teaming up with her long-lost friend, Lucy Stover Hanover II, the band 60 Ft. Queenie is born. With Jenny as our guide, we travel with her on the roller coaster ride that is the music business - from the beginning to the bitter end, and to the beginning once again. After successfully finding a manager, securing a record deal, touring with one of their favorite bands of all time and hitting it big in a big way, 60 Foot Queenie falls prey to the politics and prejudices that is the recording industry and Jenny must assess what she's really been looking for all along.
