A young single mum starts to find her feet in the world of dating again. But she's just looking for a bit of fun and a confidence boost, she's promised herself she won't fall in love...

Stella’s life is not going to plan. She'd never imagined ending up divorced in her early thirties with a young baby, zero dating experience and a house in desperate need of renovation.

To make up for lost time, she hatches a plan to date different ‘types’ of men in order to work out where on earth her love life is going. There’s the Gentleman for elegant dinner dates. The Poet for deep conversation. And the No Strings Attached Guy for ... uncomplicated fun.

Dom doesn't quite fall into any of the categories, so ends up as The Friend instead, spending time with Stella and her daughter whenever they can. And then Stella meets her perfect guy, on paper. Things are finally all coming together. But when did love ever follow the rules?
