My Matzah cover

It's so much fun to search for the afikoman on Passover!

Eating matzah and finding the hidden matzah called afikoman are two ways we can celebrate Passover at our family seder.

A young koala searches for a hidden piece of matzah in this fun and interactive board book about trying and trying some more. Charming, child-friendly art illustrates the concepts of HIGH and LOW.

Other board books in the My Jewish Objects series include My Mezuzah, My Shofar, and My Dreidel.

"A cute little koala searches for the afikomen everywhere, including swinging from a chandelier and climbing a lamp and a bunk bed ladder, which is not all that different from an active toddler at a seder. An older relative (possibly a father but probably the young koala's Saba) is always nearby. The final page offers a bit more information about the hunt for the afikomen, just enough for a very young reader. This board book series also has a book about a mezuzah (with a rabbit), and one about a dreidel (with a poppy). For those who are okay with animals standing in for Jewish children and their families, this will be fun to share with the youngest family members during Passover.

This title is a nice choice for all libraries with board book collections, especially those serving Jewish families."
