The Lodgers cover

This heartwarming tale explores the lives of three strangers in one house, revealing secrets and connections in The Lodgers.

In The Lodgers, the intertwining lives of three strangers unfold within the walls of a single house, each carrying their own burdens and secrets. Tessa, a 69-year-old activist, finds herself needing help after an unfortunate fall. To regain her independence, she opens her home to two lodgers, offering them a place to stay without charge. This decision sets off a chain of events that will change all their lives forever.

Conn, one of the lodgers, is grappling with profound grief after the recent loss of his brother. He views the opportunity to stay in Tessa's home as a chance for redemption. However, his past weighs heavily on him, and the arrival of Chloe complicates matters further. Chloe, initially there to deliver a package, ends up staying in the house but harbors a strong aversion towards Conn, especially as he remains secretive about his nightly outings.

As the trio navigates their new living arrangement, they each hold onto their secrets, leading to a buildup of tension. The mysterious package, meant for Tessa's daughter who has been missing for a decade, becomes a symbol of hope and unanswered questions. In The Lodgers, friendship, community, and the quest for truth intertwine, ultimately leading to revelations that could bring healing and closure to their lives.
