Wow, I knew this graphic novel adaptation of When the Sky Falls would be good as it’s one of my favourite books, but it exceeded even my expectations! A top notch graphic novel which beautifully captures the raw emotion of this WW2 story. Fred’s illustrations are so striking & raw, particularly through the nightly air raids & also how Joseph connects to Adonis. It’s everything I wanted and more!
