Unfortunately, this text was not regarded as sufficiently in-depth or sophisticated enough for the programme that I teach. However, it is clear, straightforward and well-informed and would make a suitable basic core text for the Pre-Registration Nursing programme. Many useful elements to this book that should be important considerations for nurses in all fields, however for MH students it is probably of less value than the alternative text in the same series- Mutsatsa, M. (2011) Medicines Management in Mental Health Nursing. I already recommend your book Medicines Management in Adult nursing ( lawson and hennefer) and have purchased it for the library.
