The country is flooding. Every day the sea claims another kilometre of the land. The Prime Minister holds a daily press conference, and the Ministry of Defence sends soldiers to the dykes. The king leaves the country. But what will happen to those who stay, camping out on the roofs of office buildings in the big cities? Once the people have been evacuated and the last seagulls find refuge elsewhere, a climate activist, a student and an oceanographer voyage across the new sea.
