That's My Cat!

Any cat owner will recognise the truth of the story, I loved the gentle humour and superb illustrations. Another brilliant book by Lynne Hudson who demonstrates her inherent understanding of human nature in lovely way. Brilliant!

This is a great book for young children. It is filled with bright illustrations and colourful characters that I particularly love, which support a lovely story about a cheeky cat who makes himself very much at home amongst the neighbours, who all believe he belongs to them. The story is written in rhyme and is just the right length to hold a little one’s attention. The text is simple enough for any child learning to read to follow and read along although I feel it would have been better in lower case. I’m sure this story will resonate many adults as many of us know a cat like this, including me.

A fantastic little read perfect for bedtime, full of zany colour pictures, silly rhymes and a naughty cat. My 3 year old daughter enjoyed it very much and already knows all the words by heart! Yet another fantastic book by a wonderful artist & illustrator!
