This book covers the History, Biographies, and Remembrance of the Treblinka Death Camp that operated in Poland as part of the Aktion Reinhardt mass murder of Polish Jewry during the years 1942 and 1943. At the heart of this third edition is the former Ukrainian guard Feodor Fedorenko who was after an appeal was stripped of his American citizenship, extradited to Russia, and, after a short trial, found guilty of war crimes and executed during 1986. Testimonies by other Ukrainian guards are also included and provide unique and invaluable insights. Chris Webb covers the history of the camp from its construction in 1942 until its liquidation in November 1943 in detailed accounts, now also covering the post-war trials in great depth, including newspaper reports about the Kurt Franz and Franz Stangl trials in Dusseldorf.
