Aarti Narayan was born and raised in Mumbai, India, and brings a deep cultural perspective to her storytelling. After earning her MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in 1997, she built a successful corporate career spanning over twenty-five years before turning to her true passion, writing. Her early pieces were featured in The New York Times (Modern Love: Tiny Love Stories), marking the beginning of her literary journey. Today, Aarti is a full-time writer based in Singapore, where she lives with her husband and two children. Her work reflects themes of resilience, family, and the reclaiming of untold stories.
