Carolyn Huizinga Mills began her career by writing short stories. Her first picture book, The Little Boy Who Lived Down the Drain, was chosen as a 2018 Blue Spruce Honour Book. A grade seven teacher, Carolyn loves to share her passion for reading and writing with her students. She grew up in Calgary, Alberta, and now lives in Breslau, Ontario, with her husband and two children. Jan Dolby is an internationally acclaimed illustrator of over 40 children’s books. Her first Canadian picture book, Gabby, won the Rainforest of Reading Festival Award in 2015 and was named one of Ontario Library Association’s Best Bets Top 10 in 2014.
