Planning Projects in Transition

This book is the result of an internationally funded research project coordinated by the University of Amsterdam. Comprises a collection of urban projects from Turkey, Denmark, The Netherlands, and Finland. Modern urban development is a complex process involving many parties. Self-organisational practices raise new questions with regard to urban space, the adaptation of legal regulations to new conditions, and the reorganisation of the financial planning of investments in the real estate sector. Planning Projects in Transition is a roadmap for urban professionals, planners, and urban researchers who face these challenges.
